Ukraine’s grid operator Ukrenergo reported the information. The nighttime attack targeted energy infrastructure in the Odesa region, leaving some consumers without electricity. Repair crews began emergency restoration work once the security situation allowed, Ukrenergo said in a statement.“Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore damaged equipment and power all consumers as quickly as possible,” the company said.Ukrenergo added that power supplies had been restored to all regions affected by the large-scale missile and drone strikes on October 10, and no emergency blackouts were currently in place. In the Chernihiv region, however, local utility Chernihivoblenergo has introduced two rounds of hourly power cuts due to damage from previous Russian attacks.Electricity consumption across Ukraine remains high, the operator said. As of 9:30 a.m. on October 11, overall demand matched levels recorded a week earlier, largely due to cloudy weather reducing the output of household solar panels.“Given the weather conditions, there is still a need for energy conservation today. Please avoid using multiple high-power appliances simultaneously between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m.,” Ukrenergo said.
