This was stated by Volodymyr Omelchenko, Director of Energy Programs at the Razumkov Center, on Espreso TV.“The agent has revealed himself. It’s long been clear that he’s working for Russia. And why? Because he has never once said that the main source of danger at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant is the presence of Russian terrorist troops,” Omelchenko said.According to the expert, Grossi has always avoided addressing this issue.“Moreover, he constantly visited the plant, hugging and kissing — there’s photo and video evidence of him with the Russian terrorists stationed there. And now, when he announced — something I’ve long predicted — that he plans to run for UN Secretary-General in 2027, everything became clear,” he emphasized.Omelchenko believes that Grossi needs Kremlin support, as well as backing from its allies, to win that post.“That’s why he saw nothing, noticed nothing — who was firing, from where the danger came. He remained absolutely neutral — which under these circumstances is totally unacceptable. It’s a 100% pro-Russian neutrality. We saw him kissing and hugging Putin, congratulating him on the 80th anniversary of Rosatom — right when Russia was shelling the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant and creating a dangerous situation at the Zaporizhzhia plant,” the expert concluded. On September 26, Grossi met with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Moscow.
