Bloomberg reported the information.Data from analytics firm Vortexa Ltd. indicate that the decline is directly linked to the strikes, which forced Russia to reduce production and prioritize its domestic market. In the first half of September, Russian exports of oil products fell by about 300,000 barrels per day to 1.94 million barrels per day, nearly 300,000 barrels below the average for this period in previous years. If the trend continues, September could mark the lowest monthly exports since 2022.JPMorgan estimates indicate that Russia’s refining volumes have dropped below 5 million barrels per day, creating a gasoline shortage. In response, the Russian government is considering extending the ban on motor fuel exports until October and has urged producers to redirect diesel supplies to the domestic market. On September 18, Russia reported a drone strike on the Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat refinery in the Republic of Bashkortostan, located more than 1,300 km from Ukraine.
