Russian troops keep pushing in Zaporizhzhia direction — Ukraine’s 125th Brigade

Junior Lieutenant Serhii Hutyi, an officer of the Civil-Military Cooperation group of the 125th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade, shared the information on Espreso TV.“Our brigade is currently carrying out combat missions in the Zaporizhzhia direction, which is now a hotspot. Since we arrived, there was relative calm as we held the defense. But recently, active Russian assaults began, so we are now using all our forces and resources to hold this contact zone,” said Hutyi.According to the officer, there have been no mechanized breakthroughs by the Russians in the Zaporizhzhia sector.“Russian troops mainly advance with infantry, along with artillery fire and FPV drones. Their infantry keeps pushing, pushing, and pushing,” Hutyi added.On September 18, 223 combat clashes were recorded along the Russian-Ukrainian frontline. In the Pokrovsk direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 87 Russian attacks.
