Belarusian state-run news agency Belta reported this, citing Belarus’ Chief of the General Staff, Pavel Muraveyko. He emphasized that the maneuvers were an important stage in improving military training, particularly under modern threats and combat conditions.“We worked not only on tactics but also on strategic issues, including the use of non-strategic nuclear weapons and new-generation missile systems such as Oreshnik,” Muraveyko said.Key aspects of the drills included the use of unmanned aerial vehicles and modern warfare methods in urban, forest, and swampy areas. Belarusian officials reported that they also studied hybrid strategies and practiced fighting irregular armed groups, actively using robotic systems and modern mobility platforms such as motorcycles and buggies.“Our units have received new technologies and methods that are quickly being integrated into combat practice. In particular, we achieved significant results in countering drones and in counter-battery warfare,” the chief of staff noted.Muraveyko stressed that the main outcome of the drills was that troops learned to effectively use infrastructure and natural cover for combat in modern conditions.“This is a key component of success in contemporary military conflicts,” he added.
