Ukrainian officer Oleksandr Matyash shared his opinions with Espreso TV.“The distribution of weapons happens a little differently. Of course, it would be nice if we all had all the gear we want, but that’s not how it works. There is a limited amount of resources and an enormous amount of needs. It’s like working three jobs, but only having enough to pay your rent and eat a little. What do you do? Either find a different job or take an additional one,” Matyash explained.The officer noted that even Russia was not prepared for prolonged and high-intensity combat.“Unfortunately, there is never an adequate amount of resources. No one was prepared for this kind of war. I’ll tell you, even Russia wasn’t prepared for this kind of war,” he added.On August 22, NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte stated that two layers of security guarantees are being developed for Ukraine, which include strengthening the Armed Forces and support from the United States and Europe. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy mentioned that Turkey is ready to act as a security guarantor at sea.
