Ukraine's Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov reported the information. The 3rd Assault Brigade, together with the company Omnitech, created the Pavuk Dophina drone in honor of a fallen comrade. With support from the Brave1 platform, it was codified for use by the military.“It (the drone) surpasses foreign counterparts on key metrics and autonomously locks onto terrain using AI algorithms,” Fedorov wrote. The UAV provides reliable communications to strike drones at distances of more than 50 km behind enemy lines, enabling the destruction of important targets — from air defense systems to logistics.“We are scaling innovations that increase the enemy’s losses,” the minister emphasized. In January, the Main Directorate of Defense Innovations conducted a demonstration test of FPV drones controlled via fiber-optic cable for representatives of the commands of certain branches of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In July, Fedorov reported that the range of Ukrainian fiber-optic drones had increased from 20 to over 40 km.
