This was reported by Bohdan Panto, head of operational planning at the 4th battalion HQ of Ukraine's Rubizh brigade (Force of Freedom), captain of the National Guard, on Espreso TV."The Rubizh brigade has been in the Pokrovsk direction for nearly a month. We're fiercely defending our country and fighting the enemy. Every day we eliminate occupiers, every day they try to advance toward Pokrovsk and the Dnipropetrovsk region. We're holding the line and adapting to their new tactics. We're training, engaging the enemy, and will keep doing so," he said.Panto noted the redeployment to Pokrovsk came unexpectedly. The brigade had previously been stationed in the Siversk direction."It was a surprise. We didn’t understand why the transfer happened or what the enemy’s tactics were here, but we arrived, took up positions, and needed some time to figure out how to fight effectively, we assessed whether the enemy was trained or not, what their tactics were, what their overall goal was. Now it’s clear, not easy, but clear, we understand how to deal with this enemy and how to stop them. Russian troops largely ignore the front line and fixed positions, they're trying to break through to the rear, searching for gaps in our defenses, they move quietly through fields and villages to reach the rear, toward Pokrovsk or Dobropillya, they're trying to infiltrate, but we're already stopping and tracking them."The Rubizh brigade is currently raising funds for anti-Shahed drones. The goal is 1 million UAH. You can support via the link.Bank card number: 4441 1111 2822 2241 "Right now, the Rubizh brigade is marking its 10th anniversary, we're still celebrating. And we’re truly grateful to everyone who supports us with supplies and donations. It’s incredibly useful for our troops and for all of Ukraine. When we raise funds for heavy drones, we use them to deliver water and supplies to the front-line warehouse, places that are physically hard to reach. Or to strike targets using Baba Yaga drones. If we raise funds for ground drones, they help evacuate personnel and deliver provisions or equipment to hard-to-reach positions. So from the soldiers to the commanders, I’m sure everyone is deeply thankful to every Ukrainian who donates. Thank you very much," Panto said.On August 6, 147 combat clashes were recorded along the Russian-Ukrainian front. In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 38 Russian attacks.
