Andrii Kanashevych, the head of the Kupiansk District Military Administration, told Suspilne.According to Kanashevych, there is currently no information about the activity of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups in Kupiansk itself; however, such activity has been recorded in nearby settlements.“There is information that they are near Kupiansk, in settlements not far from the city—such as Radkivka and the village of Myrove. This village is essentially part of Kupiansk—there is not even a border between the city and Myrove. There is some activity by these sabotage and reconnaissance groups there. We are informed about this. We understand that, given the short distances, such actions are possible. Our Armed Forces are holding their positions, and we hope the enemy will not be able to advance even a single meter further,” said the head of the district administration.He also said that about 4,700 people remain in areas close to the combat zone. Over the past week, more than 200 civilians have left the district—mostly residents of the Kupiansk and Kindrashivka communities.“We see that there are evacuation requests every day. Such measures are carried out every morning,” Kanashevych added.Previously, DeepState analysts reported that the Russian army was trying to enter the city of Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, from the northwest.
