On Sunday, July 27, Israel will announce a tactical pause in its military operations in Gaza to allow humanitarian aid to reach civilians.The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said the pause will begin at 10:00 a.m. and last until 8:00 p.m. each day in areas where Israeli troops are not actively operating—specifically Al-Mawasi, Deir al-Balah, and Gaza City. This daily pause will continue until further notice.The IDF coordinated the decision with the United Nations and other international organizations.From 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., designated humanitarian corridors will remain open to allow safe passage for UN convoys delivering food and medicine to residents of Gaza.“The Israel Defense Forces will continue supporting humanitarian efforts while carrying out ongoing maneuvers and offensive operations against terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip to protect Israeli civilians,” the military said. “We stand ready to expand these efforts if necessary.”On Wednesday, July 23, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha met in Kyiv with his Israeli counterpart, Gideon Sa’ar.
