Russian opposition figure and political analyst Alexander Morozov, based in Prague, said this in an interview with Antin Borkovskyi, host of the Studio West program on Espreso TV."I can clearly see that Trump's words about Ukraine being able to inflict more severe blows on Russia, particularly on its major cities, are not just words. After all, the very logic of war, the way it unfolds, leads to this. In other words, Trump's words were a response to reports of continuous attacks on Kyiv, which had been happening before, of course, but not on such a scale," he said.According to Morozov, the Russians must understand that today they are stuck at airports and air travel has been halted due to drone attacks, and in six months Moscow itself will indeed find itself at war, because if such strikes are being carried out on Kyiv, why wouldn't they be carried out on Moscow?"They will happen at some point. And this is indeed a reality. I think that Sobyanin, the mayor of Moscow, and Beglov, the governor of St. Petersburg, are aware of this — they all understand what is coming: Russia's capital cities will, one way or another, come under heavier attacks in six months. And that's not all. When assessing the prospects of war in six months, in 9–12 months, it is important to understand that the Kremlin has now resorted to a large-scale escalation, rejecting Trump's proposal. And it didn't just reject it — Putin did so quite brutally, demonstrating that he intends to intensify the war. Well, in response to this, the very logic of the war situation requires a large-scale response," the expert believes. In his view, this response is inevitable — he cannot imagine the situation unfolding any other way than with a strike against Putin’s entire war concept.
