Interfax-Ukraine reported the information.Speaking to reporters on July 24, Zelenskyy stressed that he “doesn’t want to risk anything” when it comes to Ukraine’s path toward the EU and assured international partners that he would find a way out of the situation caused by the legislation.“We’re already part of Europe’s infrastructure — we want to be part of Europe,” Zelenskyy said. “No one wants to take any risks. I assured all of our partners — those I’ve spoken to about the war, about Turkey — that when it comes to NABU and SAPO, I will find a solution. I’ll propose my own vision, based on what anti-corruption experts need and what society wants.”The controversy over efforts to curb NABU's independence could really pump the brakes on Ukraine's EU integration. Kyiv's actions have raised red flags with EU partners, potentially jeopardizing key conditions for membership talks.
