MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak reported on his Telegram channel that 253 MPs voted in favor of the decision.Following this, the parliament voted to appoint Andrii Sybiha as Minister of Foreign Affairs, a candidate nominated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The decision received support from 271 MPs. Andrii Sybiha previously headed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Denys Shmyhal’s government.Later, the Verkhovna Rada voted to appoint former Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal as Minister of Defense of Ukraine. His candidacy was also submitted by President Zelenskyy.
