Poland’s Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar reported on X.“Today I signed two more requests to lift the immunity of Mr. Grzegorz Braun in connection with his abuses. They will be officially announced tomorrow,” he stated.The minister added that the MEP faces criminal liability for 17 offenses.In particular, the European Parliament will be informed about the charges against Braun for:stealing the Ukrainian flag from the administrative building of the Biała Podlaska city hall;stealing the EU flag from the lobby of the Ministry of Industry in Katowice;destroying an exhibition dedicated to the LGBT+ community in the main hall of the Sejm;public defamation of the organizers of a social campaign during presidential debates.“The excesses of MEP Grzegorz Braun illustrate his demonstrative disregard for legal and social norms, as well as the democratic rules of the state.
