Ukrainian cyberattack paralyzes major Russian drone manufacturer

This was reported by Babel, RBC-Ukraine, and Hromadske, citing sources in the intelligence service.According to the reports, the cyberattack allowed Ukrainian intelligence to obtain 47 terabytes of technical data related to the production of Russian drones. The files include complete technical documentation, confidential employee questionnaires, and other sensitive materials. The information has been handed over to Ukraine’s Defense Forces.In addition, during the operation, Ukraine’s cyber experts wiped all data from the manufacturer’s servers, including 10 terabytes of backup copies.As a result, Gaskar Integration’s internet access, production systems, and accounting software stopped working. The company’s development center was paralyzed. At the same time, all doors at the drone manufacturing plant were locked, forcing employees to leave through fire exits.Earlier, cyber experts from Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence (HUR) attacked Orion Telecom, one of the largest internet providers in Siberia. Its networks had been actively used by Russian security forces in their war against Ukraine.
