He announced this on Telegram post."Thanks to multiple citizenship, we will be able to create more real legal foundations for the unity of our great nation – millions of Ukrainians on all continents, as well as those representatives of other peoples who have linked their fate with Ukraine," he emphasized.At the same time, the Special Tribunal and cooperation with global countries on this matter will allow "to ensure the real inevitability of punishment for Russia for its war against Ukraine."According to the president, suspending Ukraine’s participation in the Ottawa Convention on landmines will allow achieving at least parity in the forces and means needed for defense against Russia."Russia has never been a party to the Ottawa Convention and has never taken honest steps within any disarmament policy or humanitarian weapon use practices," Zelenskyy stated.The president instructed government officials to adopt subordinate laws for the implementation of the three laws. In particular, Ukraine can now begin identifying the first partner countries with which multiple citizenship will be introduced.On Tuesday, July 15, Ukrainian Parliament ratified the agreement on the creation of the Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine, which Ukraine and the Council of Europe had previously signed.
