South Korea’s Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) reports that North Korea has provided around 28,000 containers filled with weapons and ammunition.“Based on the number of standard 152 mm shells, the total is estimated at over 12 million,” the agency said.Since October last year, North Korea has also sent about 13,000 military personnel to Russia to take part in the war on Moscow’s side.South Korean intelligence expects North Korea to send more troops to Russia in July or August.According to earlier reports, the DPRK plans to deploy around 5,000 military construction workers and 1,000 sappers to the Kursk region to take part in so-called “restoration” projects.Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov did not rule out further involvement of North Korean forces in the war against Ukraine. He said that North Korea decides for itself how to implement its “strategic partnership” with Russia.
