Aviation expert Anatolii Khrapchynskyi spoke about this on Espreso TV."By August, the enemy will in any case reach 1,000 aerial targets in a single massive attack. This is what they are doing step by step, and it is clear that there will be more drones. We have seen a trend since September 2024—an increased use of Shahed-type strike drones. In September, it will already be the fourth year that the enemy has been actively using these UAVs. And we are still raising the issue that neither Ukraine nor the world has enough high-quality systems that could detect and transmit the coordinates of targets," the aviation expert emphasized.According to him, an important factor is detecting the target and receiving its coordinates with altitude in real time, so that it is possible to diversify the means of intercepting and destroying the target in the airspace."This will help our interceptor drones and other means of destruction to be more effective. The goal is to achieve a result where the proven effectiveness of any weapon used against the Shahed is at least 70%," Anatolii Khrapchynskyi noted.Earlier, the commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces, Major Robert Madyar (Brovdi), warned about the likelihood that Russia could use 1,000 or more drones in a simultaneous attack on Ukrainian territory within a single day.
