KharkivThe Ukrainian Air Force reported that Kharkiv came under drone attack in the early morning hours. In the Shevchenkivskyi district, multiple strikes were recorded. According to Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, a fire broke out on the 9th floor of a residential building as a result of one of the strikes.At 5:37 a.m., Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported incoming drones toward the Piatykhatky area, followed by a series of explosions. By 6:05 a.m., Syniehubov confirmed four people had been injured, including two children. A separate fire broke out on the 8th floor of another building, covering about 10 square meters.Enemy UAV strikes were also reported in the Slobidskyi district. As of 6:14 a.m., two additional people were reported injured there. All fires were localized and extinguished.KyivIn the early hours of July 7, Kyiv came under attack by Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). At 1:47 a.m., Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, reported the activation of air defense systems in response to incoming drones.In the Desnianskyi district, part of a downed UAV was discovered without fire damage. By 2:04 a.m., officials confirmed that debris had damaged windows in a non-residential building. Later in the morning, Mayor Vitali Klitschko added that the facade of an administrative building, a gas pipe, and an empty tank were also damaged. The burning debris was quickly extinguished, and no casualties were reported.In the Solomyanskyi district, debris fell on a car wash, damaging vehicles and a water pipe. Tkachenko noted there was no fire and no injuries. Klitschko later confirmed that a large-diameter heating main was also damaged; utility crews were dispatched to carry out urgent repairs.In the Holosiivskyi district, falling debris shattered windows in an office building.
