The Center for Countering Disinformation made this statement. As so-called “proof,” Russian propagandists are circulating a video that allegedly shows a Ukrainian stash containing plastid and the toxic substance chloropicrin. But the Center says the video offers no actual evidence. It doesn’t confirm what’s really in the flasks or prove they belong to Ukraine’s military."Spreading fake stories about Ukraine supposedly using banned chemical weapons is a classic Russian propaganda tactic to discredit our defense forces. None of these waves of claims include any proof," the Center stated.Meanwhile, international watchdogs and Ukraine’s General Staff have repeatedly confirmed and documented Russia’s use of banned chloropicrin against Ukrainian troops.Russian forces used banned chemical agents 888 times against Ukrainian defenders in May alone.
