Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov made this announcement.According to him, the anti-drone rounds resemble standard assault rifle cartridges, but thanks to their specialized warhead, they greatly enhance the chances of shooting down an FPV drone or a Mavic before it can strike. The manufacturer has already codified the new ammunition in accordance with NATO standards.“Our shared goal is for every infantryman to have a magazine of these rounds and be able to load them into their weapon in case of an aerial threat,” Fedorov emphasized.Ukraine's Defense Ministry has codified and approved for use in the Armed Forces the domestic unmanned aerial FPV system Svitlovod.
