Suspilne reported the information, citing an anonymous EU diplomat.According to the diplomat, it is pointless to discuss this before a representative of the European Commission visits the Slovak capital, Bratislava.“The package is mostly agreed upon. For the two delegations to withdraw their objections, other issues need to be resolved. One delegation has a problem. Another supports it. But formally, these are two separate objections,” the source said.Earlier, in his address, Robert Fico announced that a special mission from the European Commission is expected to arrive in Slovakia next week to discuss the REPowerEU proposal. At the same time, as EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Kaja Kallas stated earlier, the European Union plans to approve the 18th sanctions package against Russia by the end of this week. The price cap on Russian oil remains on the agenda.
