Intelligence chief of the Rubizh Brigade’s anti-aircraft missile and artillery battalion, Danylo Borysenko, said this on Espreso TV."Russia is not winning the war – that’s obvious. We are doing our best to carry out our tasks of holding the defense lines. Russia’s personnel losses per square kilometer of territory are incomparable to the small areas of Ukrainian land they sometimes manage to seize," Borysenko said.According to the Rubizh intelligence chief, the Ukrainian army currently does not have the capacity to launch large-scale counteroffensives. However, counteroffensive actions are being carried out in certain directions and, as a rule, are successful because they are carefully planned and executed only when there is a real chance of success. Still, the main task now is to hold the defense and wear down the Russians as much as possible."After all, sooner or later, Russia’s seemingly endless human resources will run out. Moreover, when it comes to weapons, equipment, fuel, and overall war expenses, Russia is currently suffering enormous losses. All the sanctions and restrictions imposed by our allies are also having an impact. The losses the Russian army is sustaining work in our favor, and that is our advantage. In my opinion, this is the main indicator that our way of waging war, our defense, is far more effective than their offensive," Borysenko emphasized.Over the course of June 26, 187 combat engagements were recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front. In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 56 Russian assault actions.
