The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) has carried out drone attacks on Russian airfields on 1 June. A large number of Russian strategic bombers are reportedly ablaze.

Details: The source shared a video in which the voice of SSU chief Lieutenant General Vasyl Maliuk is heard commenting on a strike: "This is how the Belaya airfield [in Russia’s Irkutsk Oblast – ed.] looks now – enemy strategic aircraft".

The source explained that the SSU is conducting a large-scale special operation to destroy bombers in the Russian rear. SSU drones are targeting aircraft that bomb Ukrainian cities every night.

The source said this unique special operation has been named Pavutyna ("Web").
